Wet food or dry food or a mix? How much should I feed a 5 year old 11 pound shorkie? Any recommendations?

Dry food only is just fine to feed to Kiwi. Each food has a daily recommended allotment on the bag, so divide that amount into two equal portions to feed once in the morning and once in the evening. Brands of food I recommend include Royal Canin, Hill's Science Diet, Purina ProPlan, and Iams. I hope this helps!

You can do either of those, as long as it is good quality complete food for small breeds. It is safer to stick with either dry or wet rather than mix, as the foods are formulated perfectly for one kind and it may be difficult to combine and still get the proper ration of ingredients. A for the amount to feed, the container (bag or can) should indicate how much to feed per day and you should divide this up into two feeds per day.
