My dog has a growth on the flap of his ear and it looks like an ingrown hair I am concern and would like to know if I should take him to the vet. I know that you are at Petco today. Pet's info: Dog | Dachshund | Male | unneutered | 3 years old | 16 lbs

There is no way of knowing for sure without an examination though this represents a reason to seek veterinary care. This is usually determined with an examination and a fine needle aspirate (FNA) or a biopsy. Treatment depends on the findings up to that point. I recommend you have Reggie evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Good luck and have a good day!
