My dog scratched me after her recent rabies vaccine. Is rabies a risk?

Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Female | unspayed | 3 years and 9 months old | 50 lbs

Sir/madam, after 7 days of bini's anti-rabies vaccination she scratchs on my knee and blood came out while playing..i went to a local hospital a doctor suggest me to take vaccine..the dr pescribed me a 4 days different date vaccination course. Dates were 13, 15, 18 oct and 10 november. I took 2 injections 13 & 15 but forgot to take which were to take on 18 oct..i went today but hospital staffs refused to give vaccine and advised me to go a md doctor..bini is ok but what should i do now..plz help

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I am sorry we can not treat people or provide advice regarding people. You need to speak to a human physician regarding YOUR health. If Bini doesn't show any signs of rabies 10 days after she scratched you then you did not get rabies from that incident. She is out of the woods on having rabies 6 months from the vaccine. I wish you the best!

    You need to see your MD for an assessment and whether you need to take the other two vaccines. Unfortunately we cannot tell you as we a veterinarians and not qualified to give you human medical advice.
