This is very very concerning and he needs to be taken back to a veterinarian. There is a possibility that he has an intestinal obstruction, or other serious intestinal problem, The next step would be xrays to see whether there is excessive gas and something blocking the intestine or stomach exit (pylorus). Please take him back to your veterinarian for a recheck.

It sounds like your dog has gastroenteritis, an inflammation/irritation of the stomach and GI tract. This could be from intestinal parasites, something he ate that didn't agree with him, or a virus. He is probably having difficulty pooping because he is becoming dehydrated from the vomiting and not drinking. I would recommend withholding food for 12-24 hours. If he is still not doing well after then I would take him in to be evaluated by your vet. He may need some nausea medication and fluid therapy.

IF the vomiting is severe and happens frequently or his has bloody diarrhea associated with it and no appetite then he would need to see a vet. IF it is an isolated episode of vomiting and still playful with a good appetite, then you do not have to take him in at that time, but can watch for further symptoms. Fatty, greasy, or spicy foods can be especially hard on their GI tract and commonly cause vomiting and diarrhea.

Poro Blick! I would be concerned that he may have eaten something outside causing him to vomit and have diarrhea. Due to this, I would have him seen by a vet right away. The vet can do a physical exam, blood tests, a urinalysis, and possibly x-rays to diagnose what is causing his vomiting and diarrhea, and can treat him for them.
