Why is my female cat bleeding and gaining weight around her belly?

My female cat has gained quiet abit of weigh around her stomach also I have found various blood staines on my jumpers and blankets were my cat has been laying also there seems to be some dryed blood on my cats fur around her vaginal area.......any idea on what the cause of this may be ??? If your cat is not spayed, she may be suffering from a uterine infection. If she is spayed then she may have a urinary tract infection. In any case Lola needs to be seen by your veterinarian for an exam as this is not normal.
