My dog ate Euthyrox meant for another dog. Should I worry about him?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Border Terrier | Female | spayed | 11 years and 9 months old | 22 lbs

My little terrier who is an 11 year old and 10kg has eaten a lump of meat with 2 euthyrox 1mg tablets in it, meant for my other 7 year old, 20kg dog. Is this ok or will there be side effects, non noticeable so far.

It is unlikely that this will cause any damage or side effects. T4 hormone will be temporarily suppressed, without any noticeable side effects.
