My 3-year-old Labrador's penis bled once. What could be the reason?

My dog was bleeding from his penis only once. He is a Labrador.Please tell me why that happened. He is 3 year old

He may have had trauma to his penis that has resolved. He could also still have a urinary or prostate infection or bladder stones. If you see any more blood, or if Brownie is urinating frequently or straining to urinate I would recommend seeing your veterinarian.
