My dog has bloody milk and lumps after spaying. What should I do?

Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Female | 1 year and 8 months old | 27 lbs

Hi, my dog had puppies 8 weeks ago but into her 3 weeks of breastfeeding she got Mastitis was on antibiotics and painkillers she stopped breastfeeding puppies as she was in so pain we had to bottle feeding pups now that pups are homed my dog has bloody milk but please note milk has dried up and boobs are not swollen anymore but she's got lumps all over her boobs please advice as my dog had her spaying yesterday

Hello and welcome to Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Bloody milk is very concerning, as are lumps through her mammary glands. I would recommend having her seen by a vet right away, as mastitis might be re-occurring. Since she was spayed it could be that it is associated with the incision. If you post a picture we might be able to better identify what is going on. It sounds like she should be seen by a very soon though. Best of luck with Cinnamon, I hope she feels better soon!
