Hello. Our 8 month old Golden Retriever has had diarrhoea for two days. Now she is struggling to get up. It seems to be her back legs. We have been taking her to the beach a lot recently due to the good weather. Could that be the cause? We caught her drinking sea water. Pet's info: Dog | Golden Retriever | Female | unspayed | 8 months old

If Bella drank a lot of sea water, it could be she has salt toxicity. It causes diarrhea and difficulty walking. Salt poisoning is fatal without treatment, and it is concerning that an eight month old puppy is having trouble walking. I feel she needs to see a vet immediately, please take her into one now.
