My dog aspirated cough syrup, now has wet breathing. What should I do?

My dog has been getting treated for trachial bronchitis since Monday and today he aspirated some cough syrup. He was having trouble at first but has since went on a short walk and has been drinking water but his breathing sounds somewhat wet now. Pet's info: Dog | Miniature Pinscher | Male | neutered | 8 years and 9 months old | 15 lbs
