My dog has been getting treated for trachial bronchitis since Monday and today he aspirated some cough syrup. He was having trouble at first but has since went on a short walk and has been drinking water but his breathing sounds somewhat wet now

I would take Jebediah into a vet now. If he aspirated cough syrup, this could potentially lead to aspiration pneumonia. It is concerning his breathing sounds wet, and that is something that needs to be checked out by a vet. Best of luck.
