My dog ate moldy corn cob from the trash. Is a vet visit urgent?

my dog is 80 lbs, 8 months old. he just got into the garbage and ate half a cob of moldy corn. should i take him to the vet right away, or is there a period where i should just watch him? he hasnt shown any signs of anything yet. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | unneutered | 8 months and 17 days old | 80 lbs

Oh no, that's not good that Sheldon go into the garbage! Yes, I would take him into the vet right away. A corn cob could easily cause a GI obstruction, which would require surgery to fix. Take him into a vet now. Best of luck.
