My dog was just neutered. Is a red rash near stitches normal?

Hello my dog just got neutered on October 17th of 2018 and it appears that he has a red rash or irritated skin around the stitches, is this normal? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | neutered | 65 lbs

This irritation may be from clipping the fur for surgery. Sometimes dogs can get a rash from clippers. Give Zedan's vet a call in the morning to tell them about the rash, and they can advise a safe treatment for it. Best of luck!
