My cat has pink foam vomit, diarrhea, and low energy. ER visit?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Longhair | Female | spayed | 2 years and 9 months old | 7 lbs

My 3 year old cat Lydia has had less energy than usual for the past few days. She has been having some diarrhea but nothing super watery. She did vomit very light pink foam once yesterday or the day before. She is acting normally and playing, just for a lesser time span than usual. She is also eating and drinking. She sees the vet Friday 2p EST but I’m worried about her. Does this sound like an ER visit? Thank you!

I don't think this require an emergency visit but i would definitely recommend making a sooner apointment for you vet, preferably before the weekend as this sound like a gastrointestinal condition that will require treatment, possibly a course of antibiotics and a change of food.
