My Rottweiler has a scab on his tail nub. Is Neosporin enough?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Rottweiler | Male | neutered | 1 year and 1 month old | 70 lbs

My Rottweilier kept nibbling on his tail. I gave him a flea bath and after I noticed that he has a small scab on his nub. I soaked it in warm water and put neosporin on it. Should I do something else? He's not biting anymore as well.

I can't tell you anything based on this picture but there is definitely something bothering him, possibly an infection or external parasites, i strongly recommend taking him to your vet ASAP in order to get it checked and treated.
