My dog has had a few sores, but this one is big and now I’m concerned. Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Female | spayed | 3 years and 10 months old

This is very concerning and appears to be a moist dermatitis, likely caused by a bacterial infection. Your dog needs to be seen by a veterinarian asap for an exam, clean up of the lesion which includes shaving the hair off all the way into healthy areas of the skin to see the extent, a possible skin swab and, depending on the diagnosis, prescription antibiotics in tablet or ointment form.
