Why is my dog eating poop after changing to allergy food?

I had to change my songs food due to chicken allergy and now he is eating his poop. I went from Victor's to Zignature. Wha. Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Male | unneutered | 3 months and 25 days old | 56 lbs

I would be surprised if the food change is to blame - most of the time eating feces is a behavioral issue. There are numerous supplements that are supposed to discourage this behavior - I put them in the ‘can’t hurt, might help’ category. The best thing to discourage this behavior is to pick poop up immediately.
