When can my neutered dog be groomed and take off the cone at bedtime?

1st-How long after my 3yr old Yorkie has been neutered should we wait to have him groomed? 2nd-How long should he wear the plastic collar after he's been neutered? Can we take it off at bed time? Pet's info: Dog | Yorkshire Terrier | Male | neutered | 3 years and 9 months old

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Max should wear the plastic cone and not be bathed/groomed for 10-14 days. I wouldn't take it off at bed time if there is ANY chance he will lick his incision. It is better to be safe than sorry. He will be fine. Good luck
