Pet's info: Dog | Australian Shepherd | Female | spayed | 5 months and 24 days old | 55 lbs
Peach has started having diarrhea and is suddenly having accidents near the door. This went on all last night and some yesterday evening. She doesn’t seem to have any issues holding it during the day, but is still having diarrhea. She recently had this same issue about a month ago due to bacteria in her gut and was treated by a vet. Is there anything short of another vet visit to get this straight? And why is this happening again so soon?

I am sorry to hear about Peach! The fastest way to get this resolved is definitely a visit to the vet, as they can prescribe medications not available over the counter that can be helpful in diarrhea. Something you can try at home is a probiotic. You can get these online, at pet stores, or at your vet's office. I prefer Forti flora, Prostora, or Proviable. If she continues to have diarrhea episodes, a gastrointestinal work up may be needed, or a trial on a special diet for GI issues.
