Why is my Shih-Poo aggressive to men, but not one specific man?

I have a four year old spayed Shitzu/ poodle mix I got her when she was about 5-6 weeks She is very aggressive with any male except my son-in-law who was living with me when I brought her home Any ideas why she behaves this way and how to alter her behavior. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 4 years and 10 months old | 15 lbs

Aggression can have many different causes, with fear being the most common. If it started at 5-6 weeks of age, I can almost guarantee something is deeply wrong with her brain because that's very abnormal. Sadly, after 4 years of practicing the aggression, it's going to be hard to change her behavior. I would recommend starting with a consultation with a veterinary behaviorist (not a trainer or non-veterinarian) who can diagnose the problem, prescribe medications, and start behavior modification with you.
