My dog throws up despite sensitive food. Could it be allergies?

I'm not 100% sure but I believe that my dog has a sensitive stomach. He uses a slow feeder but still throws up. We feed him Science Diet Sensitive stomach & skin dry food, recommended by his vet. And an elevated food bowl. But he still throws up. I gave the vet a fecal sample and his results were normal. I was thinking maybe there are ingredients that my dog may be allergic to? What are some common allergies in dogs? And do you recommend better dog food? Thank you!

I am sorry Choco is having this issue. I would recommend a prescription diet that has hydrolyzed protein. If he stops vomiting after 2 months of being on it then it was a food allergy, I would also recommend x-rays of Choco's abdomen and chest. The reason for this is to make sure there is no issues with his gastrointestinal tract and to make sure his esophagus is ok. If this doesn't give any answers the next step would be an abdominal ultrasound. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
