This could be an eye infection (and, looking at the photo the eye lids are very swollen there is a discharge and your dog is squinting because it is painful) caused either by bacteria, inflammation, or possibly even mechanical damage caused by ingrown hairs , or eye lashes. Eye problems are always emergencies. You will need to take Summer to a veterinarian or Pet ER for an exam now, please.

It could be Smudge has an eye infection, may have injured her eyes, or has allergies causing this swelling. Any eye problem needs to be checked out by a vet asap as leaving it untreated can lead to vision loss. Please have her seen by a vet now to get this diagnosed and treated. I hope this helps!

If there is swelling around Diablo’s eyes he could be having an allergic reaction which should be treated promptly by a veterinarian with injectable medications. If the actual eye tissue was swollen or enlarged he could have a scratch cut on his corneas, something causing inflammation in the eyes or even glaucoma. I would recommend seeing a veterinarian to determine what might be going on.

This could be due to an infection or eye injury. Any eye problem needs to be checked out by a vet promptly, as leaving it untreated can lead to vision loss. I'd take Sage into a vet now. Best of luck.
