Why is my pet dove scratching her head and sneezing every day?

I have a pet dove and she’s around 8 years old and every time she scratches her head she sneezes, she does this everyday.. I just got her as a pet around a month ago. Pet's info: Bird | Wild Bird | Female | 2 lbs

Thanks for reaching out for Dovie. Is it possible that Dovie is scratching her head because her sinus itches or is bothering her? Try to observe her nostrils for signs of obstruction or moisture. Vitamin A deficiencies can lead to opportunistic infections, including sinuses. Her diet should include red, yellow and orange vegetables (also green vegetables). Sometimes placing her in the steamy shower room might help open up nasal passages. If the clinical signs persist, a veterinary visit is recommended.
