Pet's info: Dog | Great Pyrenees | Male | neutered | 88 lbs

My dog Buster would just lay down for most of the day he would get up to eat but that’s pretty much it when he’s lying down he doesn’t want to be bother with so he hides on the side of the house I also have another dog she’s 7 months so she’s hyper I was wondering if I should put Buster down or not because I don’t want him to be in pain but I also don’t want my other dog to be alone what should I do?

Has Buster seen a veterinarian? It is possible he has a treatable condition. Additinally as he is a large breed dog he may have some pain related to arthritis that could be helped with medication. Although these are concerning symptoms you report I would wait on euthanasia until you seek the advice of veterinarian to see if he or she can help Buster feel better. I hope this helps and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach!
