Why is my Syrian hamster so skinny? How can I help her gain weight?

Hi I’ve got a female Syrian hamster. I’ve had her around 5/6 months and when I had her she was healthy and a good weight. Now she’s skinny and can feel her bones. I don’t know how to get her to put weight on any suggestions on how? Any information plz ?! The picture is her at a healthy weight. Pet's info: Small Animal | Hamster | Female

Sorry to hear about Ruby and thanks for including a picture. It is difficult to determine what might be happening. Try looking at her incisor teeth for possible overgrowth. Liver or kidney diseases can cause rapid weight loss. Intestinal infections or parasitic problems can alter digestion. This is serious and you should see a veterinarian as soon as possible.
