Why does my dog choke, stick tongue out, and eat grass to feel better?

My dog chokes and sticks her tongue out but then feels better after eating grass. May you help me? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | spayed | 10 years and 2 months old | 16 lbs

It's possible Princess may be feeling a bit nauseated or have some GI upset if she is choking or gagging/drooling. Bringing her to your vet for a checkup to rule out GI upset, allergies, etc, and bringing along a stool sample to test for any common issues such as parasites, etc that can cause GI upset may help.
