Why does my dog choke, stick tongue out, and eat grass to feel better?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | spayed | 10 years and 2 months old | 16 lbs

My dog chokes and sticks her tongue out but then feels better after eating grass. May you help me?

It's possible Princess may be feeling a bit nauseated or have some GI upset if she is choking or gagging/drooling. Bringing her to your vet for a checkup to rule out GI upset, allergies, etc, and bringing along a stool sample to test for any common issues such as parasites, etc that can cause GI upset may help.
