My puppy's leg is red with missing fur near paw. What can I do?

on my puppy front right leg just above his paw his fur is missing and it is red do you know what this might be and what I can do ?

This is probably caused by an allergic reaction. first of all make sure you de-flea Alvin regularly every month with a high quality spot on (ex. Advantage) as fleas are by far the most common reason for these reactions. If the fleas are not the problem, it could be an allergic reaction to food or an environmental factor. this is more complicated to treat and will sometimes require medications such as Steroids, anti histamines or cyclosporin in order to stop the allergy.

    How lovely of you to take in this stray puppy! It's possible that he injured himself leading to this spot with the fur missing. It may be healing and it will take some time for the fur to grow back. It can take up to a couple of months for it to come back fully. Given that it's not red and it's not bothering him, I wouldn't do anything with it. Have him seen by a vet if it turns red, it starts bothering him (he licks at it a lot), or it doesn't appear the fur is starting to grow back at all.
