Why is my unneutered dog howling and straying with other dogs?

My dog never used to howl and recently it started howling. what can be the reason for it? It also started recently going away with stray dogs and I am afraid that something is wrong . So please can u help me out with this. Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 10 years and 9 months old

Your dog is not neutered and may be looking for females. You should not let your dog stray with stray dogs as he may be picking up disease such as mange, distemper or rabies (especially if he is not up to date on his vaccines). If you are worried about Tiger being ill you should take him to your pet doctor for a wellness exam.
