Stela had 3 month pregnant. Today she aborted black babies with black liquid they look like stool. Stela seems normal. Should i worry? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | unspayed | 30 lbs

I am so sorry your Stela lost her babies. Usual gestation period is a maximum of 68 days, so three months pregnancy is way too long and the babies must have died about three weeks ago. THere could have been something wrong with the babies or there may have been a hormonal problem that they were not born when they were ready to be born. I suggest you take Stela to your veterinarian for a wellness exam making sure that she is okay and does not have an infection that needs to be treated.
