Cat with urethrostomy licking, has green urine. Is it a UTI?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 4 years and 1 month old | 11 lbs

My cat had urethrostomy when he was 1 years old, 3 years ago, today he has 4 years old and he feel good til yesterday when he started to lick often his genital area but he pees without any problem 1 time a day. Today i notice that urethrostomy is a little wet like a urine drop so i proved ph with ph-paper and it is 8 - 9 very green. What do you think? Cystitis? Other?

Yes, the greenish urine can be a sign of a urinary infection. He may have stones or crystals causing the irritation and blood also. I recommend an exam and urinalysis and they may want to do an ultrasound or X-ray of his bladder to make sure there are no stones or crystals. Depending on the urine results they may prescribe medication and perhaps a special diet to prevent urinary problems.
