Pet's info: Farm Animal | Horse | Male | neutered | 7 years and 4 months old
I’m moving to an equestrian boarding school soon, and I’m worried my horse will get scared. He’s always been pretty good with trailering, but he’s only ever moved barns once (when he came to me). I’m nervous that he’ll start to crib and I don’t want to use a cribbing strap. Any advice on how to calm down a horse getting into a new environment? Also, a friend needs advice on going overseas with a horse.

If you use a good transport company to move your horse, then, after a relatively short adjustment period, your horse should be fine. Horses are moved all the time and seldom have problems. I am sure your boarding school will be able to help you help hom adjust. Ask your friend to ask a separate question about moving overseas, as we would need to know , the place of origin and where the horse is traveling.
