What's causing my kitten's growing nose rash and tummy issues?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Persian | Female | unspayed | 2 months and 18 days old | 1.1 lbs

My kitten's nose has a rash that is getting bigger with time. What's wrong with her? Her history: - She had worms and i gave her dewormer. - She had diherea and now she is bloated and has constipation. - She has a tiny cut in her paw but it's getting better now. - She used to sit in her litter box and is being too lazy to move.

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Hova, she is adorable! It sounds like she has been through a lot already. The lesion on her nose can be just an abrasion or trauma or it could be ring worm or mites. It also could be an eosinophilic plaque from allergies though I haven't seen this in a kitten. Personally I would watch it for a bit and see if it shrinks or gets larger. If it gets larger she should be seen by a Vet. For her GI issues be sure you are feeding her kitten food exclusively and not giving her human food or kitten formula. Try having her on a canned kitten food for the constipation. If she hasn't pooped in 2-3 days she needs to see a Vet for an enema. I wish you both the best!
