While there is nothing harmful in terms of toxicity in adding a raw egg to your dog's food, I do not recommend feeding raw foods to pets as they always add a risk of foodborne illness such as salmonella, not only to your dog but also the humans coming into contact with the dog https://www.fda.gov/forconsumers/ucm403350.htm .

Typically, it is stongly recommended to boil all the way through or cook eggs fully to prevent infection with Salmonella. Raw eggs can be hard on the digestive tract as well and can cause vomiting / diarrhea when many are consumed. I would recommend boiling or cooking the eggs prior to feeding them to Dollar. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further.

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I always warn owners about raw foods. Just like if we were to eat a raw egg food poisoning is possible from bacterial infections. Most commonly salmonella. As long as you are aware of the possibility of her getting a food borne pathogen, you can feed her a raw egg. I hope this helps!
