My dog has sores that are hard at first and then they ooze out a very smelly discharge.

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Bear. She will need to see his veterinarian as I suspect he will require an oral antibiotic given the odor of the discharge. There is likely an infection on his skin. He may require skin testing to determine the cause of his lesions. In the meantime, bathe him with a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner such as an oatmeal or fatty acid based formula. This will help to cleanse and soothe the skin. I hope this information helps!
