Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 1 year and 2 months old | 48 lbs

Saki has a sore on her inside where the ear connects to her head. It doesn't look terrible, i thought it wad S a pimple, but there's no head, and it reformed after being drained? Any ideas? Ideas? We go for our annual within a month...

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Saki. She appears to have a mass growing at the base of her ear. Her veterinarian will likely perform a procedure known as a fine needle aspirate to determine the type of mass. A small needle is used to collect a sample of cells and evaluate them under the microscope. The goal is to determine if the mass requires treatment or not. If possible, I would move her annual appointment up so that she can be seen sooner. I hope this information helps!
