Why did my male kitten cry peeing alone first time, not pooping?

Why did my male kitten cried when he PEED for the first time with out mom cat's help? He didn't cried when he POOPED for the first time without mom's help. Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | neutered | 2 months and 9 days old
