My 4-week-old kitten pees on self, skin irritated. Litter box help?

Hello, I am fostering a four weeks old kitten, until week 3 it was all good, but now it has started peeing on its own and pees all the time on himself and the skin on the back legs as well as tummy has started shedding, do you have any advice on how could I help it? ( it still doesn’t know how to use the litter box even though I am doing my best to show it how it works)

Normally its mommy would clean it. You will need to regularly rinse off the urine and clean it so it does not scald its skin. Rinse it well, dry it well and put some vaseline on the scalded areas. This will protect the skin. It will likely urinate shortly after eating/drinking, so this is when you will need to clean it. At 4 weeks it will likely not yet be able to learn how to go into the litter box.
