There is so much talk about grain free dog food and taurine deficiency. What would you recommend I feed my cocker spaniel? Pet's info: Dog | Cocker Spaniel | Female | spayed | 5 years and 9 months old | 25 lbs

I would recommend feeding your pet a regular adult food, especially if she isn't having any skin allergies to speak of. Yes there are certain boutique grain-free dog foods that are linked to underlining heart disease in dogs. Therefore, don't restrict any grains unless your vet specifically says so.
