My cat ate string that goes on the end of the ballon. I only know that because he puked it up with all the string. He’s still eating, drinking, and going potty like a normal cat. Should I be worrried? Or no because he threw it up?

Once he threw up the balloon and the entire length of string, he should be fine. The offending foreign body has left his gastrointestinal system. However you should really check your house for any more items like that including string, as a linear foreign body (string causing an intestinal blockage) is a serious problem and would need surgery to remove. So since your kitty regurgitated the entire string and balloon he should be okay.

I am sorry to hear about your concern for your kitty! If you know he ingested an object like a string or cord and he is now vomiting I would recommend a veterinary exam to check for an obstruction. We do worry especially about long skinny objects becoming a "linear foreign body" https://veterinarypartner.vin.com/default.aspx?pid=19239&id=6075371 which can be very dangerous so it is best to play it safe and have kitty examined!
