My pregnant Labrador is shedding excessively. Is this normal?

I have a 2 1/2 yr old Chocolate Lab who is approx 7 weeks pregnant ( her first litter ). She has been shedding a lot more than usual. She does not have any bald spots and besides a little dandruff when you scratch her back, she appears to be fine. Is the excessive hair loss normal? Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Female | unspayed | 2 years and 7 months old | 81 lbs
