My dog licks paw meds. How to apply and is it safe if she licks?

Pet's info: Dog | Pit Bull Terrier | Female | unspayed | 7 years and 5 months old | 95 lbs

The vet gave Dahlia Synotic 8 ml and TriOtic ointment 15g. First how do you use for her feet and how safe are they because she licks her feet constantly

To treathe feet you apply a small amount to the affected area on her feet and rub it into the skin. This is usually done twice a day, or follow the directions on the label. They are safe medications but they are not made to injest. I recommend using a cone until the lesions are healed so she can’t lick her feet. Dogs don’t like the cone at first but they learn to eat, drink and sleep with it on. The feet will heal much more quickly if you prevent licking.
