Should a 5-week pregnant Jack Russell show noticeable weight gain?

What is the average weight gain for a 5 week pregnant miniature jack russell. She weighed 4.2kg in Feb 2018 and only put on .1kg from 5 months previous to that. She now weighs 4.7kg and this has only been noticeable since she was mated 5 weeks ago, please help. Pet's info: Dog | Jack Russell Terrier | Female | unspayed | 2 years and 2 months old | 10.3617 lbs

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Weight gain and outward signs of pregnancy is dogs and cats doesn't become evident until 5-6 weeks so I wouldn't worry yet. If you have a Vet who is able to do ultrasound then maybe they can confirm pregnancy for you. Otherwise you would need to weight until day 50-55 for an X-ray. I wish you the best!
