What causes my dog's itching, licking, biting, and ear crusties?

Pet's info: Dog | Australian Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 9 months and 18 days old | 30 lbs

Bruno has been scratching at his nose with paws , licking genitals excessively , and biting feet/nails often... also just found a yellowish crusties on the inner upper part of the ear . Any ideas what this could be ?

Hello. Bruno probably has a skin infection, possible from the Staph bacteria on his skin. This is all because he has allergies, either from fleas, atopy ( inhalant allergens ), or food allergies. He may also have sarcoptic or demodex mites present or even a yeast infection. I would recommend seeing your vet who can test for various triggers to his itching, licking & biting & recommend what products will work best for you & Bruno.
