Should I worry about white stripes on my puppy's nails after trimming?

Hello, my puppy is 4 months old. We rescued him a week ago and I’ve noticed some of his nails have developed a white stripe on the surface. It’s mainly visible on his white nails. Is this anything that I should be concerned about. They we’re not like that before. I trimmed his nails a week ago.

Congratulations on your new puppy! This white coloration is not anything I would be concerned about if the nails are otherwise normal. We do worry if the nails begin to turn brown/rust colored or if the nails become brittle/painful, these could be signs of different disease processes, but the white areas are a normal variation.
