My pet has mites. Are my skin lesions related? What's the treatment?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Small Animal | Rabbit | Male | unneutered | 2 years old | 2 lbs

Can you tell if this is Cheyletiella parasitovorax? Am I using the right treatment? and do you think the lesions on my legs are caused by these mites?

It doesn't look like Cheyletiella but it could still be another type of mite or even fleas. this spot on treatment will work for any kind of mites but not for fleas ( i recommend advantage spot on for fleas), you need to treat him with this drops once a week for 3 weeks.
