Pet's info: Cat | Burmese | Male | neutered | 11 years and 9 months old | 11 lbs
Right now we are both going through financial trouble both of us are unemployed with a special needs child. We would like a natural home remedy we can use to help our cat Hunter. Until he can get further looked at that will stop what is happening to him in the meantime. Hunter had what appeared to be a bulging back leg right were it bends. Then his leg was swollen then this appeared. A word came to mind called mange not sure if this is it. He is part Burmese. Our other cat appears healthy.

Hi and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. I am sorry to hear what a difficult time you and your family are going through and for Hunter. This is an unusual case and he needs to be seen by a veterinarian. The swelling of his leg/hair loss could be a result of trauma, am immune mediated disease process, a virus or infection or something else. Therefore, unfortunately, there are no over the counter or natural home remedies I can recommend for Hunter at this time to slow down or stop whatever is happening.
