My dog is pacing and restless. Trazodone isn't helping. What's next?

For the last two weeks my dog has been pacing and restless. She’s on a medication called Trazodone but it doesn’t seem to be helping anymore. I took her to my vet and he didn’t really have answers and suggested bloodwork to rule out anything but it’s so expensive. Do you have any suggestions? Pet's info: Dog | Basset Hound | Female | spayed | 13 years and 3 months old | 43 lbs

Poor Lucy. Her pacing or anxiety could be a sign of pain or other internal illnesses or problems. I agree that bloodwork and possible xrays are the next step. I also recommend having her anal.glands checked, as many times, if they are full, they can be very anxious and pace alot.
