My Chihuahua is sick, sugar water not working. Is it an emergency?

My 6lb Chihuahua is not well. She vomited, walking like shes drunk..she is 5 yrs old. Shes acted like this before, since she was a puppy. Vet tech said to give her sugar water. Its worked just fine til now.. Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Female | 5 years and 2 months old | 6 lbs

If the sugar water is not working anymore then the cause for the vomiting and walking like a drunk is not hypoglycemia. This is very concerning and actually an emergency. You need to take Luna to a Pet ER for an exam and blood tests and respective treatment. Please take her there now.
