Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | neutered | 2 years and 8 months old | 35 lbs
My dog is a terrier/brussels griffon mix and has been absurdly itchy lately, I can’t find any fleas or ticks on him and he has been given flea medicine (the kind you drop in a couple places across the top of their back, a couple months ago. We did just go to Pet Coach and give him a bath there, using their soap instead of our normal soap and the itching started right after so maybe it is a reaction to that? I plan on washing him again today or tomorrow with our normal soap to see if it helps.

I think washing him again with your normal soap and rinsing really well is a great plan! I would definitely do that as soon as possible. I have also has several patients over the years become infested with lice after using self wash stations so look very closely for any small bugs on the skin. Flea and tick topical therapies are usually only effective for 1 Month so I would read the instructions and see if it is time for another application. Also, this is the season we see a lot of allergic skin disease, so if the itching continues I would recommend that you have him evaluated by your veterinarian soon. Best of luck and I hope he improves soon. Thank you for using Pet Coach.
