Why is my dog leaking bloody discharge and vomiting after meds?

My dog has been losing weight and losing her hair and been throwing up for about a week. She's got a raw butt and her tail is getting raw and she has scabs. We took her to the vet and they gave her amoxicillin and prednisone thinking that she has an allergy to fleas or something. Tonight she was leaking a trail of blood spots and when she got up she was laying in a little 6-inch puddle of brownish blood creamy color. Her hind legs and bottom of her tail are soaked. Could this be from meds

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Discharge is not a side effect of the medications. If your dog has not been spayed, I would take her to a vet immediately. It sounds like she may have an infection in her uterus and needs emergency surgery. It does sound like she may have a flea allergy but I think the vomiting and discharge are unrelated.
