My 2-week-old rabbit has red, swollen genitals and pee on paws.

Pet's info: Small Animal | Rabbit | Male | unneutered | 15 days old | 1lb

Can you tell me what’s wrong with my rabbit? He is 2 weeks old. Noticed today he has dry pee all over his paws and belly. His genitalia is red and swollen! I’ve looked it up and the only result I’ve found is either wet tail. Because he peed on himself or a uti because of the red swollen genitalia. Please help me I don’t want my baby to die

It may be inflammation and/or infection due to urine scalding. Ideally, he should be examined by your veterinarian or a vet experienced in treating rabbits for diagnosis and treatment. You can use plain, unscented baby wipes or pet wipes to gently clean his abdominal area. Do not bathe him as it can be stressful and may complicate any underlying condition. Use the wipes and dry him thoroughly afterwards Keep him on clean, dry bedding or soft towels and change them frequently.
